Multi-store Change Log

Introduction

  • All notable changes made in the Multistore Model in this release – OnPrintShopv9.0 are documented here.
  • For you to check precisely what notable changes we have made in Store Management section. And what changes you can expect in the upcoming release - OnPrintShopv9.0.
  • All the changes are only in the Admin Panel, there are no changes on the Front-Store.
    1. The Front-Store customers will not be impacted in any way by these changes, except for front-store login.
  • Along with the below multi-store change log, our standard OPSv9.0 Change log will also apply.

Store Settings Enhancement

Moved ‘Store Listing’

  • Earlier, all your stores were listed under – ‘Store Configuration >> Store Settings’.
  • Now, the first active store will be considered as a ‘Default Store’. It will be the Super Admin Store, hence it won’t be listed particularly anywhere in the system.
  • Your remaining stores will be listed under ‘Store Management >> Stores’ with store-type – ‘Franchisee’.

  • We have also added icon to identify your store.

Added new tab – ‘Configuration’ in Store

  • We added a new tab – ‘Configuration’ in Store:

  • We have streamlined all the store configuration details into single place.
  • In this new tab, you will have following card views to configure:
    1. Website Logo
      1. From here, you can set the store-logo.
      2. Earlier it was available in the store’s ‘Edit’ tab. Now we have removed those logo fields from ‘Edit’ tab and moved them here into new ‘Configuration’ tab.
    2. Theme Configuration
      1. From here, you can configure the store specific theme.
      2. Earlier, it was available under store’s ‘Edit’ tab. Now we have moved it to new ‘Configuration’ tab.
    3. Email Notification
      1. From here, you can decide which email notifications needs to be sent to the store.
      2. This is a quick link for you to check all the email notifications that are available to the store.
      3. Earlier, to check this the admin had to navigate to Content Management >> Email/SMS Notification and filter the specific store.
    4. Settings
      1. From here, you can configure store specific site settings.
      2. Earlier, there was a separate individual store tab – ‘Store Configuration Setting’. It is now moved into new ‘Configuration’ tab.
    5. Pages Personalization
      1. This is a new functionality added for stores.
      2. From here, you can personlize store-specific pages for - Login, Registration and Reset Password.
    6. Email Template
      1. This is a quick link for you to check all the email templates that are available to the store.
      2. Earlier, to check this the admin had to navigate to Content Management >> Email/SMS Notification and filter the specific store.
    7. Custom CSS
      1. This is a new functionality added for stores.
      2. From here, you can customize store-specific CSS.
    8. SMS Notification
      1. This is a quick link for you to check all the SMS Notifications available to the Store.
      2. Earlier, to check this the admin had to navigate to Content Management >> Email/SMS Notification and filter specific store.
    9. Reward Points Settings
      1. Now, you will have the facility to configure store-specific rewards potints. This is a quick link for you configure the same.
    10. Web Optimization
      1. Earlier, there was a tab under store for ‘Web Optimization’.
      2. Now, we have moved that tab under the ‘Configuration’ tab.
    11. Address Settings
      1. Now, you have the facility to manage store-specific shipping address settings.

Store-specific Content Managment

  • Now, you will have the facility to manage store-specific all the following content details. This facility will also be available to the store-admin from their login account.

      5. Email/SMS Notification
    2. Store Personalization
      1. Language Text References
      2. Links – Header/Footer
      3. Sidebar Management

      4. Robots
      5. Manage URL Redirection
      6. Image Alt text
    4. External Service
      1. Manage only the allowed external services for the specific store
    5. Designer Studio
      1. Language Text References
      2. Predefined texts
  • All the above can be configured after logging into the specific store admin account.

Moved ‘Store Localization’ tab details

  • Earlier, each store had a tab – ‘Store Localization’, which is now completely removed and its details are moved to other places.

Store FAQ, Testimonial, CMS & Promotional setting

  • Earlier, the FAQ and Testimonial settings were store-wise. And both the settings were individual.
  • Now, we have merged and made single setting for all the following:
    1. FAQ
    2. Testimonial
    3. CMS &
    4. Promotional
  • In this release we have added additional setting for CMS & Promotional. Earlier they were not available.
  • Also, we have moved this setting from ‘Store Localization’ tab to the Store-specific’s ‘Edit’ page under ‘Content Settings’. Reference screen as below:

  • In the new setting,
    1. All – The content of both default store and the specific store will be seen
    2. Only Store – The content of only the specific store will be seen for the specific store.
      1. For each store the Admin will have to configure the setting, if required.

Other Store Localization Settings

  • The remaining store location settings are moved to the store-specific ‘Edit’ page under ‘Configuration Settings’ section. Reference screen as below:

  • Except for the ‘Default Country’ setting, this can be found under the Store-sepcific ‘Configuration’ tab >> Settings.

  • Earlier, the FAQ and Testimonial settings were store-wise. And both the settings were individual.

Removed ‘Store Banner’ setting

  • We have removed the ‘Store Banner’ (i.e. ‘Banner Settings’ tab) setting completely. Now, the Default Store level settings will be applied for Banner.

Removed ‘Pay On Offer’

  • The Pay On offer’ which was avaialble under Customers >> Pay On Balance History >> Pay On Offer, is now removed.

Store Admin Login enhancement

  • Now, except Store Admin, all the Admins can login into their admin account only through the Default Store Admin’s admin account URL.
