Product Price

After adding all the products, if you are looking to change the price of certain products from a margin then this section allows you to change the price of the products without any hassle.

this interface aims to give you easy access to all the Product Price under one roof and reduce down your efforts in opening each product.

Simply select any product from the dropdown, select the price type and the system will show you all the price list of the product. This screen gives quick access to all the prices of every product; each of its product options and product options rules.

Along with single products, the system also has provision to update bulk product price, additional options bulk price update and allows you to import modified file in the form of excel sheet. Read along to understand each of the tabs in this section.

Manage Product Prices

Instead of surfing down to a single product in Admin Panel, this panel allows you to select the product of which you want to change the price. From the dropdown, select the product. The system will list down all the listed products on your web store. Thus, giving you easy access.

Select Price type

In addition, the system has provision to change both Product Price as well as the Additional Options Price.

  • Product Price - This is the price of Product entered in Price section of the Product.
  • Product Additional Option Price - This is the price of all additional options entered in the Attribute Price section of all the Additional Options.
Note: The product prices under Additional Options Price will only be displayed if you have added the Product’s Additional Options.

After the selection of Product and Price, the following option to select User Type is displayed.

Select User Type

Select the user type for whom you want to change or update the prices.

  • Retail Price - This will change the Product Price for all the retail customers.
  • All Corporates - This will change the Product Price common for all corporate clients.
  • Specific Corporate- This option will help you change/update the product prices for any specific corporate. (If any added)

Product Price Bulk Update

The Manage Product Price section allows Admin to update/manage the price of one product at a time. This interface allows you to handle bulk prices. With simple steps, choose the products to update prices of and add prices

Step – 1 Select the available options

This step will help you create a filter to update the Product Price.

Price Category for Retailers, Corporates and Specific Corporates.

Choose the Price category. The system allows you to choose the category of the Prices with the type of customer i.e. Retail, Corporate (if there are any) and Specific Corporate (if there are any). As you change the Price Category, the products listed in ‘Select Products’ gets changed.

  • Fix Quantity – This will show products for which you have added price quantity-wise.
  • Range Based Quantity – This will show products for which you have added price according to Range Based with Multiplication or Range Based without Multiplication.
  • Custom Size – This will list down all the products whose prices are defined on Custom Size based.

Apply Price on Quantity

Depending on the product category, you can set the pricing filter by entering any price. Keep blank for all quantities.

Enter the price for bulk price update

Here enter the price that you want to increase, decrease or enter a percentage increase or decrease in the price of the products. Adding percentage or price is mandatory.

  • Fixed ($) increase
  • Fixed ($) decrease
  • Percentage (%) increase
  • Percentage (%) decrease

Select Products

Now select the products. From unassigned products select the products for which you want to change the price and move them to assigned products.

Step – 2 List of Prices

You will get a list of current and new prices based on the filter created in Step – 1.

According to the filter created the system lists down all the products with their old prices and new prices. The new prices are defined based on the ‘Bulk Price Update’ value entered.

If you do not want to update the new price of a specific product then simply delete it by clicking on the trash icon. While on this screen, you can still change the filter from the ‘Filter’ section.

The above example shows a product price increase of Retailer product with Fixed Quantity pricing method. All the products have an increase of $5 on Price quantity greater than or equal to $10.

Step – 3 Click to Apply

After finalizing the price and check thoroughly the changed prices click on the ‘Apply New Price’ button in the top left corner. This will update all the prices displayed on the list.

Note: After applying, the updated price there is no provision to revert the action.

Additional Options Price Bulk Update.

The Additional Options Price works in a very much similar manner as Product Price Bulk Update. Only here the Price of Additional Options is listed for all products.

Step – 1 Select the available options

This step will help you create a filter to update the Product Price.

Price Category for all users

Select the Price Category to list down the products. Choose from-

  • Fix Quantity
  • Range Based Quantity
  • Custom Size

Apply Price on Quantity

Depending on the product category filter select the price or the pricing range of products for which you want to update the prices.

Enter the price for bulk price update

Here enter the price that you want to increase, decrease or enter a percentage increase or decrease in the price of the products. Adding percentage or price is mandatory.

Select Product

Next, choose the products that will be listed according to the Price Category and Price Quantity. The changes in price effect will be on the selected products’ Additional Options only.

Step – 2 List of Prices

You will get a list of current and new prices based on the filter created in Step – 1.

According to the filter created the system lists down all the products’ additional options with their old prices and new prices. The new prices are defined based on the ‘Bulk Price Update’ value entered.

If you do not want to update the new price of a specific product then simply delete it by clicking on the trash icon. While on this screen, you can still change the filter from the ‘Filter’ section.

Step – 3 Click to Apply

After finalizing the price and check thoroughly the changed prices click on the ‘Apply New Price’ button. This will update all the prices displayed on the list.

Import Modified Price

It can be hideous to increase or decrease the price of each product or product additional options. Keeping this in mind OnPrintShop Admin panel allows you to download excel files. An excel file is an easy option when you have different price updates for every product.

An excel file will reduce down the effort of tracking each product option and change its price.

Step – 1 Download File

Under the Import Modified Price tab, click to download the file. For File download, choose the following- These filters will help you find your product better and download all its size options and additional options in the form of an excel sheet.

  • Product Type – Select the product type to filter out the required products i.e. standard or pre-defined.
  • Price defining method – Choose the price defining method of the products. The price defining method is entered while adding a product. This would become easy for Admin to update the prices.
  • Price Type – Select the price type i.e. Retail Price, Corporate Price, Option Price (Additional Options Price) or Option Combined Price.
  • When you select Option Price, then a new dropdown will ask you for the Options Price type. You can select ‘The Common Price for All Sizes’ or ‘Size Based’ prices.
  • Selection Method – If there is large data then it is recommended to go for Single Product rather than multiple products.
  • Products – Finally select the products of which you want to modify the prices.

Step – 2 Fill up data

After downloading the excel file fill up the necessary details.

For every ‘Price Type’, step 2 has guidelines on how to fill up the data in each field. It gives a quick highlight and guide to fill each field of the excel sheet.

Also, the system will list all the Corporates in a separate tab with their IDs.

Step – 3 Upload File

At last upload the excel file with the new pricing details. The system will require you to select the Price Type i.e. for whom the pricing will be applicable, Retail, Corporate, Option Price, or Combined Option Price.

Note: At a time you can upload only one excel sheet.

Step – 4 Product Price Validation

Pricing is a very vital aspect of the product. To make sure you have entered correct pricing the system performs a validation test and displays a data summary.

  • Valid Records – The records correctly entered into the excel sheet.
  • Invalid Records – The records with some missing information.
  • Skipped records – Records that are wrong or invalid are not considered by the system.

Check the records and import the file.
